Job summary

Applied Intuition is seeking an experienced HIL Systems Integration Engineer to design, build, and bring up hardware-in-the-loop benches that replicate our vehicle platform’s E/E architecture. You will lead system-level integration of ECUs, harnessing, instrumentation, and test automation across our HIL bench fleet, ensuring milestones and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Electrical, Computer, Systems Engineering or equivalent.
• 2-3+ years in vehicle E/E systems integration, HIL bench development, or vehicle-level validation.
• Experience with HIL platforms and real-time simulation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead system-level integration and bring-up of HIL benches replicating vehicle E/E behavior.
• Design and assemble bench hardware, harnesses, and instrumentation for reliability.
• Develop tooling and automation in Python for ECU flashing and bench health monitoring.
• Debug hardware/software issues using oscilloscopes and bus analysis tools (CAN/CAN-FD/LIN/Automotive Ethernet).
• Coordinate validation at bench and vehicle level and drive root-cause analysis.
• Maintain bench documentation and interface with software, hardware, and program teams in JIRA.
