John Deere is seeking a Software Test Engineer II - Hardware in the Loop (HiL) to join our Morrisville, NC team. The role focuses on building a hardware-based verification environment and developing tests that validate embedded software against real-world hardware interactions.

You will work with HiL tooling, electronics, controls, and embedded software to ensure robust test coverage and reliable releases. Onsite work in Morrisville is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering or related field.
Experience with embedded SW testing and HiL environments.
Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink and model-based development.

Responsibilities

Develop a hardware-based verification environment that emulates physical systems interfacing with embedded software.
Build and maintain HiL test infrastructure for embedded SW releases.
Provide on-site support to install, verify, modify, or troubleshoot HiL units and related hardware.
