Automotive & Embedded Systems is seeking an Automotive HIL Test Engineer in Auburn Hills, MI, onsite. The role supports HIL development and validation, building and maintaining bench designs to validate features without prototype vehicles.

You will work with dSPACE and Vector toolchains, develop real-time I/O and bus simulations, and help remote HIL access while aligning with safety and cybersecurity standards.

• Design and develop HIL test benches for ADAS/Chassis/Infotainment to validate features without prototype vehicles.
• Standardize HIL design and HWIO integration across vendors.
• Integrate and validate ECUs with HIL benches using dSPACE and Vector toolchains.
• Develop real-time systems, I/O configuration, and bus simulation (Ethernet/SOME-IP, Android/Linux, OTA).
• Enable remote control of HIL benches with secure access concepts.
