Job summary

Lincolnshire County Council is seeking a motivated Project Officer to assist in planning, coordinating and delivering highways projects within the Highways Client and Contracts Team. The role requires strong organisation, communication and problem-solving skills to achieve positive outcomes for Lincolnshire.

You will join a small, friendly team and work in a hybrid way, splitting time between Lancaster House in Lincoln and remote work.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and delivering projects within a public sector or similar environment.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, implementation and monitoring of projects, creating plans and tracking milestones.
• Identify improvement opportunities and support delivery of change projects.
• Manage tenders and ensure compliant communications with contractors and clients.
• Support performance management through data analysis and process mapping.
• Liaise with internal teams, stakeholders, suppliers and partner organisations.
