DeAngelo Contracting Services in Atlanta is seeking an experienced Traffic Control / TMA Driver to support District-Wide Signing Operations across the Atlanta Metro area. You will help maintain safe work zones on interstates and state routes during highway sign installation projects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience with traffic control and lane closures.
• ATSSA traffic control certification or equivalent encouraged.
• Valid drivers license (Class C min; Class B CDL preferred).
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather and lift up to 50–75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain single- and double-lane closures per plan.
• Operate attenuator trucks to protect crews on active roadways.
• Perform traffic control duties including cones and signage.
• Assist highway sign crew with installation and maintenance of roadway signage.
• Drive company vehicles safely in high-traffic environments.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and basic equipment checks.
• Ensure work zones meet DOT safety standards and regulations.
• Communicate with crew to maintain safe and efficient operations.
• Respond to emergency and after-hours work as required.

Skills

Traffic control experience

Attenuator truck operation

Driver's license (Class C)

DOT safety awareness
