Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equivalent.
• Materials Inspector I: no experience required; II: 1 year laboratory work or eng-related work.

Responsibilities

• Conduits nuclear density tests on subgrade, base and asphaltic concrete pavement.
• Coordinates test results with engineers, inspectors and material producers and suppliers.
• Investigates compaction problems with hot mix asphaltic concrete.
• Maintains a diary of inspection/test details and field records.
• Performs tests and inspection duties and records data for calculations.
