Role Overview:
The Highway Maintenance Unit Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising various highway specialty areas (e.g. bridge, heavy equipment, maintenance, facilities etc.). In this position, you will be responsible for managing staff and participating in preventive maintenance and/or maintenance repair work of roads, bridges, traffic markings, heavy equipment, buildings, grounds, etc. You will offer direction to maintenance/facility staff for standard day-to-day operations, including prioritization of work assignments and making recommendations to work techniques.
CDL Positions:
Candidates with a current CDL will earn an additional $1 per hour for this position. Candidates without a CDL will be given 90 days to obtain their CDL, with training provided by INDOT, and will then earn an additional $1 per hour upon successfully obtaining their CDL.

This position is located in INDOT's Lebanon Unit.
Salary Statement :
The salary for this position traditionally starts at$53,222.00but may be commensurate with education or work experience.
