Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years or older; valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to work in adverse weather; lift moderately heavy objects; bend, climb, stand, and walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean and clear culverts.
• Mowing and clearing brush from roadsides.
• Patching broken or eroded pavements and shoulders.
• Assist in storm cleanup.
• Fence and sign repair.
• Litter/debris removal.
• Emergency response.
• Operate equipment used in highway maintenance.
• Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, brooms, etc.
• Use power tools such as chainsaws and weed eaters.
