Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HiSET required.
• Passing the CDL written exam is required before hire, with tanker endorsement, no air brake restrictions (Class B) and interstate status within 60 days of hire.
• Must successfully complete a work simulation and a medical-physical examination.

Responsibilities

• Maintains state highway systems including filling joints, patching potholes, flagging traffic, setting up signs and hauling materials.
• Maintains and repairs state highway facilities and signage, cleans curbs and gutters, paints buildings and equipment, and services machinery.
• Operates vehicles to transport personnel and equipment, plow snow, spread ice control materials, and perform related duties.
