Job summary

Responsibilities

• Operates tools to install and repair traffic signs.
• Assists with placement of traffic control devices and setting up maintenance work zones.
• Acts as a flagger to direct traffic safely in work zones.
• Operates dump truck, forklift, and snow plow equipment as needed.
• Picks up litter and debris; may involve working with motorized traffic and in natural hazards.
• May work extended hours or 12-hour shifts during emergencies or inclement weather.
• Other related duties as assigned.
