Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of highway maintenance experience or two years in landscaping/maintenance.
• CDL-A with tanker endorsement required or eligible to obtain within six months, no air brake restrictions, and no manual transmission restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy and light equipment to maintain and repair road surfaces.
• Assist with weather emergencies and snow operations.
• Perform pothole repair, concrete patching, and small inlay work.
• Clear debris and vegetation along roadways and maintain barriers.
• Maintain drainage systems, culverts, and milepost markers.
• Perform light maintenance including janitorial work and basic carpentry.
• Respond to emergencies; may require after-hours for on-call work.
