Zusammenfassung

Watonwan County is seeking a skilled highway maintenance worker to operate heavy equipment and perform a variety of road and bridge maintenance tasks. You will drive and maintain equipment, patch pavements, and assist in routine shop duties.

The role requires a Minnesota Class B CDL (Class A within 6 months) and extensive road maintenance experience. You may report to the St. James shop, with potential lead worker responsibilities and adherence to safety rules.

Qualifikationen

• Requires a valid Minnesota Class B Commercial Driver's License, and ability to obtain Class A CDL within 6 months.
• Considerable experience in road maintenance and construction work, and experience operating highway and heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of safety precautions and ability to perform minor/major repairs on equipment.

Aufgaben

• Operate motor patrol grader to plow snow and maintain gravel roads and shoulders.
• Perform patching, crack filling, ditch cleaning and frost boil removal; operate hand tools.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and vehicles; maintain logs for time and vehicle maintenance.
• Possess lead work responsibilities and report to the St. James shop as assigned.
