AECOM is seeking a Highway Engineering Intern in Roanoke, VA for Summer 2027 to assist in the design of transportation projects. You will support calculations, CAD detailing, and site visits under supervision within the Transportation team.

The internship offers hands-on experience with established professionals, CAD tools, and exposure to real-world infrastructure projects in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with at least 1 year of study.
• Graduates with a Bachelor's degree who plan to pursue a Master's degree are eligible to apply.
• Interest in highway design is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Carry out engineering tasks using standard techniques and procedures.
• Prepare engineering calculations and quantity takeoffs/cost estimates.
• Assist in site visits for roadway projects and prepare CAD drawings.
• Work under supervision of a project manager or senior team member.
