Dewberry is seeking a Highway Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 to join our Highway Engineering Department in Boston, MA. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic student to work on transportation projects and gain hands-on experience with industry professionals.

The internship offers exposure to design calculations, cost estimates, and design drawings, with mentorship and hands-on projects that mirror full-time roles. Applicants pursuing a B.S.

Formación

• Currently pursuing a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in transportation.
• Solid oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with AASHTO, MassDOT, MBTA, and MUTCD preferred.
• Experience using MS Office software, CADD (Microstation or AutoCAD) preferred.
• Desire to work in a team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Developing and evaluating engineering solutions
• Preparing design calculations, quantities, cost estimates, and drawings
• Assisting with various studies and documenting results
• Adherence to assigned project schedules and budgets
• Writing internal communications
• Performing other duties as assigned
