Duties and Responsibilities

• Assisting in communication and coordination for specific projects.
• Participating in capital improvement planning, including cost estimates, feasibility studies, and developing recommendations and innovative solutions.
• Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams on intersection design, traffic signal design, roadway signing, pavement marking plans, and traffic operations analysis.
• Obtaining and analyzing PennDOT’s Highway Occupancy Permits and design criteria.
• Preparing or modifying reports, specifications, plans, schedules, impact studies, permits, and designs.
• Monitoring construction progress and other duties per contract documents.
• Serving as on-site project representative.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• EIT, FE, or PE certification (preferred but not required).
• Knowledge of CADD software (MicroStation, AutoCAD, or OpenRoad).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Valid Driver’s License required.
