Join to apply for the Highway Design Engineer role at STV

Position Overview

STV has openings in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Douglassville, Harrisburg, PA, Newark, or Lawrenceville, NJ for a Highway Engineering Specialist in our Transportation Division.

Responsibilities

1. Design all phases of highway plans from inception to construction for transportation projects.
2. Work on highway geometrics, roadway modeling, cross section development, traffic control, signing, pavement marking, utility coordination, and right-of-way plan development.
3. Collaborate with transportation agencies throughout PA and NJ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Successful completion of the FE exam (EIT certification) preferred.
• 0 to 5 years of highway design experience.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with PennDOT, Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, NJDOT, NJ Turnpike Authority, or other transportation agencies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, OpenRoads, MicroStation, InRoads; AutoTAB and PennDOT’s ECMS are pluses.
• Active participation in client service teams supporting proposal and business development activities.

Additional Information

Compensation ranges from $52,858.13 to $70,477.51. We encourage candidates who meet most qualifications to apply, emphasizing our commitment to diversity and inclusion.
