The role involves assisting with communications, cost estimates, feasibility studies, design plans, schedules, and on-site coordination; a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering and CAD proficiency are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required or strongly preferred.
• EIT/FE not required but preferred.
• Knowledge of CAD software (MicroStation, AutoCAD or OpenRoads) essential.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in outside contact and communication for specific projects.
• Prepare cost estimates, feasibility studies, and develop recommendations.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on intersection design, traffic signal design, roadway signing and pavement marking plans, and traffic operations analysis.
• Obtain and analyze PennDOT criteria and procedures.
• Assist in preparing or modifying reports, specifications, plans, schedules, permits, and designs.
• Review construction site progress and perform other duties per contract documents.
• Serve as on-site project representative.
