Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• EIT/FE/PE are preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of CAD software (MicroStation, AutoCAD, OpenRoads).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist in outside contact and communication for specific projects.
• Capital improvement planning including cost estimates, feasibility studies, and developing recommendations and innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on intersection design, traffic signal design, roadway signing and pavement marking plans, and traffic and signal operations analysis.
• Obtain and analyze PennDOT’s Highway Occupancy Permit Design Criteria/procedure HOPs.
• Assist in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, impact studies, permits, and designs for projects.
• Review construction site to monitor progress and other duties per the contract documents.
• Serve as on-site project representative.
