Job summary

Traffic Planning and Design, Inc. in Pittsburgh is seeking engineers at all levels to join our Access Design team.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years of experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work on multiple projects within a collaborative environment. Responsibilities include managing PennDOT HOP related design projects, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams on highway and traffic design, and assisting with reports, cost estimates, and construction schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• EIT, FE, or PE is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in Civil CAD software: MicroStation, AutoCAD or OpenRoad.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee PennDOT HOP related design projects.
• Work with multi-disciplinary teams on highway/intersection/traffic design tasks.
• Assist in reports, plans, cost estimates, and project schedules.
