Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Road and Highway Design Engineer to contribute to a variety of transportation projects. You will work with an ambitious team to develop roadway design plans, construction documents, and supporting technical reports using AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and OpenRoads Designer.

The role emphasizes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and client interaction as projects advance through design and delivery phases.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
EIT certification or ability to obtain certification.
Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, or similar software.
Basic understanding of roadway, highway, and transportation engineering principles.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple assignments.

Responsibilities

Perform highway engineering duties applying engineering principles to roadway, highway, intersection, and multimodal projects.
Prepare plans, specifications, estimates, calculations, reports, and project documentation.
Develop roadway design plans and construction documents using Civil 3D, MicroStation, OpenRoads.
