Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Senior Roadway Engineer in Tampa, FL to lead design and development of major roadway projects. This role requires a PE license, 8+ years of roadway design experience, and proficiency with MicroStation, InRoads, and OpenRoads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• 8+ years of experience in roadway design engineering.
• Solid roadway geometric design background with proficiency in roadway design software (e.g., MicroStation, InRoads, Open Roads).
• Strong knowledge of AASHTO, FHWA, and state DOT design standards and guidelines.
• Intermediate skills with Excel (macros, equations).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
