Job summary

HDR is seeking a Highway Design Coordinator to join our Transportation Business Group. You will work on detailed design of urban and rural roadway projects, collaborating with project engineers to develop alignment, geometrics, drainage, and construction estimates.

You will also assist with technical reports, specifications, calculations, and participate in ongoing efforts to modernize infrastructure. Bachelor's in Engineering required; EIT encouraged for career progression.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar field.
• Proficiency with MicroStation and AutoCAD; experience with highways software such as Bentley ConceptStation/Open Roads Designer or Autodesk InfraWorks.
• Active participation in an employee-owned culture and team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Work on a team with other project engineers on the detailed design of urban and rural roadway projects.
• Take responsibility for alignment and profile, geometrics, drainage, development of plans and construction estimates.
• Provide assistance with the creation and submission of technical reports, specifications and calculations.
• Perform other duties as needed.
