Job summary

HDR is seeking a Highway EIT/Coordinator to join our Transportation Business Group in Kansas City. You will work with project engineers on the detailed design of urban and rural roadway projects, focusing on alignment, geometrics, drainage, and estimates to support safe and sustainable mobility.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required; an EIT certificate is preferred or progression toward that credential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar field.
• EIT certificate preferred; candidates without EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator role with progression to EIT.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project engineers on detailed roadway design.
• Develop alignment and profile, geometrics, drainage, and construction estimates.
• Assist in creating and submitting technical reports, specifications and calculations.

Education
