Job summary

Prairie Knights is seeking a Hot Line Cook to join our kitchen team at Fort Yates, ND. The role involves rotating and labeling stock, preparing items at the assigned station, and ensuring quality and presentation under the Executive Chef. Must meet age and licensing requirements and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Starting pay ranges from $14.72 to $18.40 per hour (DOE). High school diploma preferred; tribal Nongaming licensing may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a food prep position is desirable.
• Must be able to communicate in the primary language used in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Rotates all food in the assigned refrigerator and labels containers.
• Prepares items at the assigned station per standards of quantity, quality, taste and presentation by the Executive Chef.
• Checks food for taste, temperature and eye appeal.
• Inspects delivery of food for quality.
• Maintains sanitation to comply with health regulations.
