Job summary

Dell Technologies seeks a Higher Education Strategist to shape markets, create demand, and position Dell as a leading partner for digital transformation in U.S. colleges and universities. The role blends strategic advisory with executive relationship-building and deep HE knowledge.

In year one, you will lead on-campus engagements, build trusted relationships with senior leaders, and guide cross-functional Dell teams to align strategies, solutions, and partnerships for transformative outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience working with or within higher education.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior higher-education leaders (presidents, provosts, CIOs, CFOs).
• Demonstrated experience leading strategic, consultative, and executive-level engagements (discovery, facilitation, high-stakes comms).
• Established thought leadership through conferences, publications, or major transformation initiatives in higher education.
• Strong understanding of higher education ecosystems with cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data platforms, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic advisory, market intelligence, and executive engagement for HE leaders.
• Build and sustain relationships with senior institutional leaders across governance, funding, and operations.
• Design executive briefings, workshops, and market briefings to create demand and align Dell offerings.
• Identify top-of-funnel opportunities and connect cross-functional teams to co-create solutions.
• Serve as voice of the customer to marketing, portfolio, and product teams for HE context.
• Collaborate across sales, presales, services, and strategic businesses to drive coherent engagement plans.
