Job summary

EAB is seeking an SEO & AI Visibility Specialist to drive organic traffic growth for its higher education clients. The role blends traditional SEO with AI-driven discovery, improving partner content discoverability across search engines and AI platforms.

Based in Richmond, VA or Washington, DC, you will audit sites, research keywords and prompts, and translate insights into actionable recommendations that boost rankings and AI visibility while shaping EAB’s optimization discipline.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of SEO experience with solid understanding of SEO principles.
• Familiarity with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and AI-driven search behavior.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present strategies to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Compile and synthesize data from reporting platforms to evaluate performance for higher-ed partners.
• Develop and guide SEO and GEO strategies focused on technical performance and discoverability.
• Provide recommendations to improve crawlability, indexation, and content for search and AI visibility.
• Perform keyword and prompt research to inform on-page optimization and content strategy.
• Leverage analytics to interpret SEO and AI visibility performance and inform partner decisions.
• Stay current on SEO and AI trends and adapt tools and methodologies accordingly.
