Job summary

University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee is seeking a College Accountant II to provide professional accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis for the Lubar College of Business. You will prepare recurring and ad hoc reports, monitor budgets, perform reconciliations, and assist with fiscal-year close and allocations across program, gift, and grant funds.

Reporting to the Divisional Finance Officer, you will work with Dean and college leaders to ensure accuracy and compliance, support

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• At least two years’ accounting, budgeting, or financial management experience.
• Experience preparing, reviewing, or analyzing financial reports.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process journal entries and adjust accounts.
• Monitor budgets and prepare monthly/year-end reports.
• Perform reconciliations and financial analyses to support decisions.
• Collaborate with College leadership and other stakeholders on financial matters.
