Job summary

Walden University is seeking an Academic Operations Specialist/Contracts Specialist for Field Experience. The role focuses on negotiating affiliation agreements with field sites and managing contracts related to student field experiences, in collaboration with the Office of Applied Learning Agreements and university legal staff.

The candidate should have at least 3 years of contract administration/negotiation experience, preferably in higher education, and a BA/BS or relevant experience.

Qualifications

• 3 years of corporate contract administration/negotiation experience is required.
• BA/BS or relevant work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of education and healthcare affiliation agreements is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate affiliation agreements between Walden and field sites for student placements.
• Manage and track contracts, amendments, and related issues.
• Review field experience contracts for university compliance.
• Prepare correspondence related to field experience contracts.
• Assist with annual revision of university contracts and forms.
• Research state and federal laws affecting student field experiences.
• Develop processes for contract review and management.
• Data tracking and reporting duties.
• Support Education and Nursing Field Experience teams.
• Collaborate with university legal staff and site representatives.
