Job summary

Walden University is seeking a Field Experience Coordinator to work closely with students and field instructors, securing field placements. The role requires an MSW from a CSWE-accredited program and involves coordinating with the Office of Field Experience, field sites, and university stakeholders.

The position supports graduate students, manages site onboarding, maintains field experience records, and ensures alignment with policies while collaborating with OALA for any required negotiations.

Qualifications

• MSW degree from CSWE-accredited university is required.
• Experience with student support in a university setting is preferred.
• Experience with learning management systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as main point of contact for a cohort of students regarding all field experience matters.
• Coordinate with Office of Field Experience staff to assist graduate students needing field experience.
• Work with field site contacts to establish affiliation agreements and liaise between university and field sites.
• Coordinate completion of site onboarding requirements with students and field sites.
• Track field experience resources, policies, and student files across platforms.
• Develop and maintain field experience communications to students, faculty, site supervisors, and other parts of the university.
• Assist in training and mentoring new team members.
• Collaborate on projects to drive field experience objectives and student satisfaction.
• Attend meetings with OALA coordinators for collaboration.
