ING Americas is expanding its Global Capital Markets presence in New York, seeking an Associate in Debt Capital Markets to support high-yield bond transactions and leverage finance initiatives. The role intersects with syndicate and origination, offering exposure across deal teams and client engagements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2.5 years of GCM, Leveraged Finance or Investment Banking experience.
• BA/BS in Business or related field; Series 79, 63 licenses.
• Strong client relationship, marketing, and sales skills; ability to execute transactions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Bloomberg.

Responsibilities

• Follow market trends to identify terms and pricing for underwriting decisions and updates.
• Collaborate with lev fin, sponsor coverage, and other teams to identify opportunities and maximize revenue.
• Lead deal execution including documentation, due diligence, roadshows, bookbuilding, and orderbook analysis.
• Pitch clients on market status and strategies in collaboration with the syndicate desk.
• Produce advisory materials to secure internal approvals for primary sale of high yield bonds.
• Oversee junior team members and train new joiners.
• Participate in pitches and client conversations.
• Develop relationships with peers at other financing institutions for market intelligence.
