Job summary

SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA is seeking a Debt Capital Markets professional in New York to originate IG debt instruments for diverse clients across the Americas. You will work with coverage, ECM, M&A, syndicate, and trading teams to structure transactions and advise on capital structure and ESG financing.

Responsibilities include preparing pitch materials, monitoring market data, and assisting in deal execution while developing advanced DCM models and conducting credit analysis.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Debt Capital Markets or Investment Banking.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience with liability management and ESG financing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Originate debt instruments for corporate, financial and sovereign clients across North/South America.
• Collaborate with coverage, ECM, M&A, syndicate, sales/trading and other IB teams on transactions.
• Structure and advise on liability management and ESG financing initiatives.
• Prepare pitch materials for capital markets and capital structure discussions.
• Monitor market data and deal flow; assist in execution of IG bonds and related financing.
• Develop and maintain DCM models and perform credit analyses.
• Form pricing indications across USD, EUR and other currencies.
• Support junior team members and ensure robust risk controls.
