Responsibilities :
  • Closely and continuously follow market trends to identify and determine prevailing market terms and pricing, depth of the market and other factors in underwriting decisions and translate it into relevant market updates to our internal and external stakeholders.
  • Liaise with key ING internal stakeholders (e.g. lev fin and sponsor coverage teams, other capital market departments across the globe, overseas DCM Syndicate, ratings advisory, credit research a.o.) to identify capital raising opportunities, structure new deals, enhance internal cooperation and maximize revenue generation and expansion of ING’s US Leveraged Finance platform.
  • You take the lead in key bond transaction management activities. Manage deal execution by means of direct involvement in the deal team (e.g. documentation and due diligence, roadshow logistics, bookbuilding and orderbook analysis).
  • Actively pitch and advise clients on the status of the market, structures, investor dynamics and execution strategies, in close collaboration with the leveraged loan syndicate desk.
  • Produce advisory materials to secure internal approvals to execute the primary sale of high yield bonds. Lead internal syndicate and risk discussions.
  • You oversee and review the work of more junior team members and train new joiners and interns.
  • Participate on pitches and conversations with clients.
  • Develop relationships and maintain active dialogue with peers at other financing institutions as a source of market intelligence.
