Job summary

Casey's General Stores in Ankeny, IA, is seeking an Associate Talent Acquisition Specialist to support high-volume recruiting for store roles, conduct virtual interviews, review pre-recorded video interviews, and help select candidates for the assigned area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, or related field, or equivalent work-related experience.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate and build relationships based on transparency and mutual respect, both internally and externally.
• Self-motivated, engaged, and team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to apply recruiting best practices and techniques to assigned requisitions and projects.
• Ability to utilize experience and knowledge to recommend sound decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage entire candidate lifecycle in terms of scheduling virtual interviews, viewing pre-recorded video interviews, follow-up communication, and act as the primary point of contact for information and assistance through the interview process. Make hiring decisions to support assigned area of stores.
• Lead bi-weekly data-driven meetings with field leaders to ensure understanding of new position and structure, and ensure leaders are knowledgeable on recruiting and onboarding process.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
