Job summary

UPG Electrical is seeking a Stamping Press Operator in Monroe, WI to support automotive, consumer products, aerospace, and defense manufacturing and logistics industries. The role involves loading/unloading coils, aligning parts, completing production paperwork, removing scrap, and maintaining a safe work area.

Schedule options include Mon-Thu 6am-4pm (1st shift) or 4pm-2am (2nd shift). High school diploma or equivalent required; ERP and forklift experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Read and understand work instructions, including Load and Packing instructions.
• Experience with ERP systems and entering information is preferred.
• Retrieve documents in ERP system, such as work instructions.
• Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic are important.
• Forklift knowledge and experience would be a plus.
• Lift freight up to 50 lbs frequently and over 70 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads metal coils through progressive dies, banding coils at the completion of a production run.
• Aligns parts between dies or positions them against fixtures on the machine.
• Accurately completes all production paperwork including job cards and tally sheets.
• Removes metal scrap between die and press bed and immediate press floor area; keeps work area orderly and clean.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following safety and environmental standards.
• Responsible for quality of part produced per the operator instructions.
