Job summary

High Horse Saloon and Mickey's Irish Pub in Fullerton, CA is seeking an experienced Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen and bar team. You will prepare dishes to our standards, work efficiently, and contribute to an exceptional guest dining experience.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and at least 18 years old.
• Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant kitchen preferred.
• Ability to lift, carry, or pull heavy objects.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift; multitasking.
• ServeSafe or California Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh ingredients and menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
• Cook dishes accurately and efficiently, ensuring consistency and proper temperatures.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of work surfaces, serving areas, and storage containers.
• Monitor ingredient freshness, rotate stock, and track inventory to maintain quality standards.
• Respond to guest feedback with professionalism and urgency.
• Complete opening, side work, and closing duties to ensure the kitchen is organized.
