Job summary

The University of Central Florida is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the Student Health Services Pharmacy under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will assist in filling prescriptions, enter data into the computer, and support accurate medication dispensing and patient service.

Responsibilities include third-party billing, prior authorizations, inventory management, and maintaining orderly shelves.

Qualifications

• Florida Board of Pharmacy registration required and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with third-party billing for prescription medications to insurers is preferred.
• Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, preferably ECW, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in filling prescriptions under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Enter prescription data accurately and handle third‑party billing and prior authorizations.
• Manage inventory, stock, and input new shipments, returning overstock items to wholesalers.
