Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Weighs, counts, measures, and mixes medication.
• Handles inventory to ensure the pharmacy is stocked.
• Receives written prescriptions, fills and refills, and verifies information.
• Answers telephones and Responds to questions or requests.
• Fills bottles with prescribed medications and affixes labels.
• Assists customers by answering questions and locating items.
• Establishes and maintains patient profiles and records.
• Transfers medication to sterile and disposable syringes using aseptic techniques.
• Monitors robotic machines that dispense medicine into containers.
• Prepares and processes medical insurance claim forms.
• Adheres to University policies and safeguards assets.
