Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years related experience or training.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Follow specific direction and complete orders as requested.
• Prioritize work and complete assignments on time.
• Knowledge of general office machines (computers, printers, fax, copiers).
• Maintain accurate, legible records.
• Experience in computer program operations and applications.
• Good planning and organizational skills.
• Exhibit knowledge of safety and security issues.
• Work harmoniously with supervisor and co-workers.
• Work diligently with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Packs and prepares UPS and FedEx orders for shipment.
• Packs and prepares cold chain orders for shipment.
• Secure and review orders to determine items to be picked and mode of shipment.
• Pick and prepare large volume and container orders for shipment.
• Assist with loading of container and truckload shipments; coordinate with Logistics for timely pickups.
• Ensure documentation is completed correctly for shipments.
• Assist in other Distribution Center tasks as needed to alleviate backlogs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Operate forklifts and pick trucks safely and report maintenance issues.
