Randstad USA in Melville, NY is seeking a high-energy call center professional to handle 150+ daily inbound and outbound calls with merchants. You will assist business owners with POS hardware, payment gateways, and account optimization while identifying revenue-generating upsell opportunities.

The role offers $55,000–$60,000 annually, 9 AM–6 PM shifts, and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a high-volume call center
• Entry level position with upskilling mindset acceptable
• Ability to communicate on phones and upsell opportunities

Responsibilities

• High-Volume Communications: Manage 150+ inbound and outbound calls daily, delivering swift resolutions to business clients while maintaining target average handle times (AHT).
• Technical & Account Support: Guide business owners through POS hardware troubleshooting, payment gateway configurations, statement reconciliations, and fee structure inquiries.
• Drive Commission Income: Proactively identify account enhancement opportunities—such as hardware upgrades, expedited funding programs, gift card integrations, and advanced processing solutions to maximize monthly earnings.
• Client Retention & De-escalation: Mitigate account churn by resolving high-friction billing and service disputes, clarifying fee structures, and implementing retention-focused account adjustments.
• Accurate CRM Documentation: Maintain real-time documentation of merchant interactions, trouble tickets, and account modifications in the internal CRM.
