Job summary

PCI Group is seeking an Inserting Operator in Irving, TX. This role focuses on producing inserted materials per Standard Work Processes while meeting quality and throughput targets.

Requires a High School Diploma or GED; technical training is a plus. Prior mail-inserting machine experience and English reading/writing ability are preferred. You will work 6:00 AM–2:00 PM Tue–Sat and contribute to safety, accuracy and continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; vocational/technical certificate preferred.
• Experience in a mail facility with high-volume inserting machines preferred.
• Ability to read and write in English; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow Standard Work procedures.
• Make ready, operate, maintain and troubleshoot inserting process as needed.
• Follow QC procedures and complete logs, paperwork, checklists and computer functions (MRDF, DCS).
• Work with Assistant Operator to ensure finished materials are processed correctly.
• Understand machine capabilities to achieve optimum print quality.
• Maintain workflow efficiency by evaluating processes at each production stage.
• Perform preventative maintenance and ensure proper job setup.
• Inspect for adherence to procedures using visual checks and quality analysis.
• Identify errors early to minimize production rework.
• Interact with other departments (Pressroom, Mail Dispatch, Warehouse, Shipping, Technicians).
• Ensure safety and OSHA standards are observed.
• Maintain area 5S standards and drive continuous improvements.
