Job summary

PCI Group is seeking an Inserting Operator in Irving, TX. You will produce inserted materials following Standard Work Processes to meet quality and efficiency goals.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, experience with high-speed inserting machines, and basic computer skills. You will work with cross-functional teams, maintain safety standards, and strive for continuous improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; vocational or technical training preferred.
• Experience in a mail facility with high-speed inserting machines such as Pitney Bowes or Bell and Howell.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Basic computer skills, understanding of workflows, and knowledge of job tickets.
• Strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and team-oriented approach.
• Familiarity with inserting machine operation, setup adjustments and safety protocols is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow Standard Work procedures.
• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot the inserting equipment as needed.
• Follow QC procedures and complete logs, paperwork and computer functions.
• Collaborate with the Assistant Operator to ensure materials are processed correctly.
• Understand machine capabilities to achieve optimum print quality.
• Maintain workflow efficiency by evaluating processes at each production stage.
• Perform preventative maintenance, proper job setup and routine inserting procedures.
