The-Durban-Group is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team in Charlotte, NC. You will prepare and cook menu items to recipe standards in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, ensuring quality and consistency across every plate.

You will set up your station, assist with prep, and maintain cleanliness while following all food safety guidelines. A flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience as a line cook in a high-volume restaurant preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to recipe specifications and presentation standards.
• Set up and stock the workstation with necessary supplies before each shift.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the station and kitchen areas.
• Communicate with the kitchen team to ensure proper timing and ticket flow.
• Assist with prep, storage, and rotation of ingredients and supplies.
