Job summary

Anchor Bar Niagara Falls is seeking a part-time cook to join a high-volume kitchen team. You will be responsible for preparation, cooking and presenting dishes while ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met.

You will work at the station assigned by the Executive Chef, operate multiple kitchen appliances, and contribute to delivering consistent quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or culinary diploma required.
• 1–5 years of minimum previous experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with speed and quality.
• Understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide high hospitality service at the designated station.
• Work at the station assigned by the Executive Chef.
• Able to operate kitchen equipment like braising pan, ovens, stoves and fryers.
• Produce quality product in a timely and efficient manner.
• Cook food according to recipes, quality standards and checklists.
• Knowledge of cooking temperatures, soups, sauces, entrees and vegetables.
• Replenishes service lines and prepares workstation for next shift.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen areas, workstations and tools.
