Job summary

Delaware North’s Patina Group in Lake Buena Vista, FL is hiring experienced full-time Cooks to join Maria and Enzo's Ristorante. You will prepare food to specification, maintain sanitation, and operate kitchen equipment in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires at least five years in Italian or Mediterranean restaurants, strong knife skills, knowledge of Italian ingredients, and the ability to read recipes and production sheets. Benefits include weekly pay and a comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of food preparation experience in a high-volume Italian or Mediterranean restaurant
• Ability to read, interpret, and execute recipes, production sheets and preparation instructions
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, including temperature control, FIFO and cross-contamination prevention
• Proficient knife skills including brunoise, julienne, chiffonade and other professional techniques
• Able to operate and maintain commercial kitchen equipment and tools
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in basic English

Responsibilities

• Prepare food to meet portion sizes, quality standards, and safety guidelines
• Keep workstation, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, sanitized and stocked
• Record waste and follow waste control guidelines
• Perform opening, closing and side work duties and end-of-day inventory
