Agata & Valentina, NYC's premier Italian specialty food store, seeks a Store Manager to lead our high-volume operation. You will guide daily store operations, develop department teams, and use sales and inventory results to improve performance.

The role requires exceptional customer service, deep knowledge of specialty foods, and adherence to merchandising, cleanliness, and food safety standards. Experience in grocery retail leadership is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3 years of grocery or specialty food retail experience.
• Previous store or multi-department management experience.
• Strong understanding of store operations, merchandising, and inventory control.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.

Aufgaben

• Lead, coach, and develop department managers and associates.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve guest concerns.
• Ensure products are stocked, priced, and displayed with accurate signage.
• Review department sales and adjust merchandising and staffing to support store goals.
• Drive sales through product presentation, store cleanliness, and employee engagement.
• Oversee department inventory, ordering, product rotation, and waste control.
• Manage department schedules and monitor labor budgets.
• Communicate operational priorities to department leaders and address staffing or product concerns.
• Train teams to anticipate customer needs and deliver knowledgeable, attentive service.
