Agata & Valentina in New York, NY is seeking a Deli Associate to join our fast-paced specialty food team. The ideal candidate will help customers, prepare and present Italian deli items, and maintain freshness and food safety in the display cases.

This full-time, in-person role requires excellent service, attention to detail, and the ability to stand, cut, and lift as needed. You’ll work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to deliver high-quality products and friendly service.

Formación

• 1–2 years in a deli or specialty food retail environment.
• Knowledge of premium deli meats, Italian cheeses, and prepared foods is a plus.
• Ability to safely operate deli slicers, scales, and knives.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Willingness to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Provide friendly, attentive customer service and product recommendations.
• Slice, weigh, package, and label deli items according to specifications.
• Operate and maintain deli slicers, scales, and knives safely.
• Prepare sandwiches and other ready-to-eat items following recipes and standards.
• Maintain clean, stocked refrigerated displays and monitor product freshness.
