Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and push or carry up to 30 pounds; team lift over 50 pounds.
• Able to stand and walk for the duration of a shift with repetitive motions.
• Communicate effectively in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Remain within work deployment for the duration of a shift and follow directions.
• Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively with staff, students/customers, and management.

Responsibilities

• Complete tasks outlined by management to support Dining Services daily operations.
• Perform quality work and meet deadlines for meals as directed by culinary/management teams.
• Assemble salads and sandwiches using pre-cooked ingredients and prepare protein-based salads.
• Use knives safely to cut and prepare ingredients with precision and efficiency.
• Serve food according to safety guidelines and monitor freshness and quality.
• Maintain FIFO principles with daily stock rotation and proper labeling.
