Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of experience in cash applications, accounts receivable, accounting, or related field is required.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, are required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong organizational and time-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Apply customer payments accurately and efficiently across various payment methods.
• Review incoming payment information and ensure transactions are matched to the appropriate accounts.
• Investigate unapplied funds, deductions, short payments, and account discrepancies.
• Research invoices, payment history, and customer records to determine resolutions.
• Process approved account adjustments and assist with deduction-related activity.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and identify accounts requiring further research or follow-up.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting and customer records.
• Assist with account reconciliations and recurring accounts receivable reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment and account-related questions.
• Manage a high volume of transactions while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
