Job summary

Financial Additions seeks a detail-oriented Cash Applications Specialist for Irving, Texas. This onsite contract role handles posting payments, reconciling cash, and supporting month-end close.

You will resolve unapplied cash and payment discrepancies, work with ACH, wires, and refunds, and contribute to process improvements. Strong Excel and SOX/GAAP awareness are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Cash Application Specialist, or an Accounts Receivable role with cash application and reconciliation duties.
• Experience handling ACH, wires, credit cards, refunds, and other payment methods.
• Strong reconciliation, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• D365 experience; cash application or posting automation, is a plus.
• Knowledge of GAAP and SOX controls preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
