Job summary

Kei Concepts is seeking an experienced, energetic bartender to join our Front-of-House team at QUA Dining in Fountain Valley, CA. The Bartender will craft quality beverages, interact with guests, and support busy service periods.

The role requires at least 3 years of bartending in a high-volume setting, strong knowledge of beverages, and a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Pay starts at $17 per hour plus tips, with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of bartending experience required
• Strong knowledge of beer, wine, liquor, cocktails, and common drink preparations
• Previous restaurant or guest-service experience preferred
• Strong communication and hospitality skills
• Ability to provide efficient and attentive service in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Comfortable handling both bartending and guest/table service responsibilities
• Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and sanitation
• Ability to accurately operate a POS system and process payments
• Basic math and cash-handling skills
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must have or obtain a valid Food Handler Card (Training will be provided by company, if needed)
• $17.00/hr + Tips

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes and guest requests
• Take beverage orders from bar and tables
• Maintain knowledge of liquor, wine, beer, cocktails, and other offerings
• Verify guest identification and follow RBs/alcohol service requirements
• Prepare garnishes, bar ingredients, and itemized service items
• Maintain a clean, organized bar throughout the shift
• Wash, sanitize, and store glassware and equipment
• Restock liquor, beverages, glassware, and other bar supplies
• Monitor inventory and report low stock to management
• Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive service
• Present menus and make recommendations
• Enter orders into the POS system accurately
• Serve food and beverages in a timely manner
• Process payments accurately
• Maintain service area cleanliness and organization
• Communicate with kitchen and team members for smooth service
• Support team during high-volume periods
• Follow food safety and company policies
• Perform opening/closing duties
